  1. 主语 + 动词 + 间接宾语 + 直接宾语 (Subject + Verb + Indirect Object + Direct Object):

In Chinese grammar, the sentence structure “主语 + 动词 + 间接宾语 + 直接宾语” (Subject + Verb + Indirect Object + Direct Object) is used to express a situation where a subject performs an action that involves giving, sending, or showing something to an indirect recipient and a direct object. The indirect object indicates the recipient of the action, while the direct object indicates the thing being given, sent, or shown.

Structure of the Sentence Pattern

The sentence pattern “主语 + 动词 + 间接宾语 + 直接宾语” consists of four main components:

1.Subject (主语): The subject of the sentence is the person, place, thing, or idea that is performing the action of giving, sending, or showing.

2.Verb (动词): The verb is the main action word in the sentence and typically indicates the act of giving, sending, or showing.

3.Indirect Object (间接宾语): The indirect object is the recipient of the action, the person or thing to whom something is being given, sent, or shown. It is usually placed after the verb and before the direct object.

4.Direct Object (直接宾语): The direct object is the thing that is being given, sent, or shown. It is typically placed after the indirect object.
